more updates
Er... The OS was restarted again. Renamed to OSFIX. This time, i'm more or less on a learning streak to learn as much C and Assembly as I can before diving in head first into an OS. That was my mistake last time and i'm trying to change that. Also, i'm going to start using proper grammar now because I feel like it.

my little guy
i'm planning to make a little laptop using an ESP32, a 1200 mAh battery, a charge circuit, a 3.3v buck converter, a 1.8 inch TFT display, and a whole bunch of buttons. it's currently a WIP, but so far everything is hooked up except for the display. i'm waiting on it from amazon.

my eternal OSDev nightmare
so basically, exec pagefaults and i dont know why as of now, so i concluded that i had to restart the OS from scratch. little did i know, i would have to do my entire journey from scratch, so i decided to not restart and keep the current os. right now trying to debug exec, will keep yall updated.

ext2 vs exfat, and how i decided
long story short, ext2 was being a pain in my ass in vnix, so i decided to go down the exfat route. hopefully exfat isnt as much as a pain as ext2 was.

hello world
starting a blog. mostly kernel stuff and flight sim things.
hey, i'm yazin.
independent systems/embedded dev and FOSS hobbyist. i believe in free and open source software; everything i build gets released under the EUPL or GPL.
currently working on:
- OSFIX: me and my organization's free and open source x86_64 operating system.
- "the little guy": an ESP32-based tiny laptop with a TFT display, custom power circuit, and a pile of buttons.
mostly kernel stuff and flight sim things around here. will update this as things change.
